Rachael has a Master of Counselling (MC) degree through City University of Seattle and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). As she is passionate about providing the most ethical and effective counselling services to her clients, Rachael continues her learning through perusing the relevant literature, attending workshops, gaining certifications, and collaborating with other professionals.
Rachael works with adults of all ages, backgrounds, and identities, offering a person-centred, compassion-focused, collaborative space for healing and self-discovery. Empathetic support is provided, fostering a deeper understanding of very real and very human experiences, such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional regulation, chronic pain, injuries, identity issues, life transitions, adverse religious experiences, and childhood trauma.
Pain, trauma, grief, and other issues are viewed through a lens of compassionate inquiry and acceptance so that they can be witnessed and understood more deeply. Rachael understands her role as a compassionate witness and a warm, empathetic presence, co-creating an authentic and transparent connection that feels safe and open to process life’s challenges.
Having experienced the benefits of counselling in her own life, Rachael understands the vulnerability and the courage it can take to open up to a stranger. That sometimes it can feel worse before it feels better. AND she has experienced the life changing power of having all the hard stuff witnessed and processed within a safe space. Rachael is ready to sit with you through the challenges and celebrate with you in the wins. Welcome. You can come just as you are here!
